Personal Background:
I am originally from New York City, and was raised in Connecticut. My husband, Slava Gaufberg, is an emergency physician at The Cambridge Hospital. We have four daughters: Lilia (15), Rachel (13), Eva (11) and Sophia (9). I am active in my kids' schools, and love being a soccer (dance, piano) mom. I enjoy using poetry, literature and art to teach students and residents, and am a co-editor of "Auscultations" a literary magazine at The Cambridge Health Alliance.
