Education and Professional Experience:
Dr. Littles is the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education and Academic Affairs at the Florida State University College of Medicine and has overall responsibility for overseeing the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the four-year comprehensive curriculum leading to the M.D. degree. She is a family physician who has been involved in medical education since 1989, is a former president of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and was the 1993 Florida Family Physician of the Year. Prior to entering full-time academic medicine, she was in private practice in Quincy, Florida and served as Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL.

 

Scholarly Interest:
In addition to medical education, my interests include involvement in organized medicine, having served in several leadership roles at the state and national level. I am also particularly interested in rural health, women’s health, pediatrics and care of the underserved.

 

Personal Background:
Dr. Littles was born and grew up in Quincy, Florida. She is married to Mr. Gentle Littles, III and has a 16 year old son, Germaine.
